Uncapped 50mbps fibre on vox

Hi guys(and girls) I am currently living in Parkview and we have fibre coverage under frogfoot. Naturally I am interested in getting fibre. I have seen the new uncapped Vox offerings and I am especially interested in uncapped 50mbps for R549 pm. What I would like to know is whether this speed would be sufficient to stream 4k and what speeds I can realistically expect over wifi. They also offer a free modem, does anyone know what model or if it's decent? Could anybody with experience with vox fibre on frogfoot please provide me with some insight into how reliable and cost-effective their offerings are?Another thing that I have been wondering about is how the fibre installation or CPE works, and whether there is a way around installation cost. The frogfoot website says that it includes a ups to run the equipment during one of eskom's happy hours, is this true? Thanks in advance.

Hi, 4k on Netflix takes about 16meg, but they recommend a 25meg service so 50 is more than enough. with regards to wifi, that depends on several things
1) the type of wifi the router has
2) the device you are connecting to the router
3) the distance form the router to the device
4) the construction of the house
5) then amount of interference form nearby devices such as other wifi routers, microwave ovens etc.

Nope, I received a full quote today from vox for R549 for 50/25 mbps uncapped. Do you guys think this is a decent package?

You might wanna confirm as their website has the Basic Uncapped 10/5 for R549. 50/25 is R849.
