Hi, im looking for anyone that is willing to share their uncapped ADSL account with me, i am willing to pay half, lol. :D

I am happy to give the person my details, simple as that :)

I have a 1024k adsl line if you are wondering...

Well an uncapped 1024 service is about R2700-R3000pm. Why not just drop to 512 and you can get uncapped for about half that which would be the same as sharing?

An ISP is hardly going to be happy with this - a 2 for the price of 1 offer!

Yes, IS does support concurrent sessions and you also get a fixed IP, but when you sign up with IS, they provide you with a Cisco Router that you use to access the Internet. This means that you cant just use someone elses account because of the configuration.

Unshaped IS DSL does NOT support concurrents. You get 5 IPs yes, and it ONLY works through a preconfigured router.

But you can share your connection behind the ip with another router?

Or you can use Internet connection sharing to distribute?

Do you think IS will give me uncapped ADSL for personal (as opposed to business) use?

I'm most certain you can.

I'm sure they'd be willing to take your money.

No you can't. You still need some sort of internet account to access this router by so it's not really uncapped.

So if I get an IS uncapped account with their router I can't plug my NAT enabled Airport Express into it and share it between numerous computers?

EDIT - To be clear I'm working on the assumption that he's querying the feasibility of connecting his router (switch or hub?) into the IS supplied one to expand his network.

Yes, as with any adsl router you can plug another router/switch in the adsl router and connect however many PC'c it support to the new router.
