uncapped adsl

Howsit guys,

i've recently became a client of megaserve's uncapped adsl, its quite a decent speed, u get nice pacakges, like 128k international and 512 local its all unlimited, WOW

we are 15 ppl in our office and we have a home silver, which is 1:4 ratio 128k and 512 local, they offered to us to test it first and then we download whatever we want for now on and we use to have a 128k diginet from saix which cost us R8500 p/m

Cost wise, we pay R1700 for data excluding the line, but we have quite an expensive one, but my boss has adsl at home and can get 64k unlimited for R399 from them as well

service wise, they have a support line everything u can phone, nice guys

we only been using it for a while, and they have configed a linux box to fetch mail everything, also dynamic dns for remote access to my terminal server at work, i'm quite happy so far

Please Could u tell us more about that speeds u get and what account u are using for the speeds,Also what speeds u get on Bittorrent and Kazaa/E-donkey if u can thanks.

i get download speeds of 14KB/s ( internasional) from kazaa, im using an account ( adsl assumed ) they have supplied me, hope this is whaT u've asked for?

Is that 14kb/sec for Kazaa on a 128k 1:4 Megaserve Silver Business ( 1:4 is business silver not business home

Can u also give speeds for bittorrent.

Info would be greatly appriciated

ps. also if u know what does your boss get on that R399 Home account 64k.

i downloaded from bitorrent At About 100kbps,

my boss said his speed is decent, like A normal day on the old 128k diginet, local stuff like baNking sites quite fast and international stuff where our site is hosted, he sAys he haS no problems connecting to it and uploaDing code etc

Any other info i can give?, im sure if u aSk for a test account from MS they will give u one, i've tested it from my windows box before we bought, just a normaL vpn account u make

100k? wth thats impossible. that means you have a 800 000 Kbps connection

I think bittorent measures speed in kilobits per second, not bytes. 100KB/s is 800 Kbps btw, not 800 000 Kbps

So if i needed the 64K ADSL option. What would it cost me per month and what is the ration thingy in brackets next to the ADSL options on their site ??
