Just looking on the Axxess website and they've got a new product whereby you can purchase an uncapped voucher for R99 at PnP or Engen. It's supposed to be identical to their JustSurf Uncapped product but is obviously available as a prepaid voucher.

The voucher aspect appeals to me as I normally use the Axxess prepaid 1 or 2 gig vouchers however they don't seem to last very long. They say this uncapped thing is throttled to 384kbps maximum and doesn't carry over to the next month like the standard prepaid (expected) but I'm wondering if it would drop below that speed at any time. It's slow to begin with but for R99 I guess it seems ok. To me this seems like a pretty decent fallback option in case I get capped or have to do tedious updates etc.

Anyone got any feedback on this? Good? Bad? Ugly?

I got the just surf account, I was expecting to do some gaming a little video streaming the odd download from HTTP hosted sites. It doesnt work, some sites you can download from, Updates no problem, skype and email no problem, VPN doesnt work, online gaming doesn't work, I couldnt even log in on the PSN network, for general browsing its great. you are better off getting the R196 uncapped 384 from them, I hav just signed up for it, I hope its going to be better.

Oh, well **** that then.

What the hell would I want an uncapped account for that's only good for checking email and reading news sites? You're limiting us to 384, Axxess! Isn't that enough!?
