I just received this mail from Openweb:

Hey Friends

OpenWeb.co.za, South Africa's most innovative ISP, has today become one of South Africa's cheapest ADSL providers! With the launch of the Summer Bandwidth Promotion, OpenWeb has slashed the pricing of their capped and uncapped ADSL offerings.

One of the most popular offerings is a new 12GB - 384k account for R109. This service is unshaped, meaning that account holders can get the full speed of their connections at any time.

OpenWeb have also reduced the price of their shaped, uncapped offerings as follows:

384k Shaped Uncapped GOLD - R239
1Mbps Shaped, Uncapped Standard - R259
4Mbps Shaped, Uncapped Standard - R459

The promotion will run until stocks run out.

"So many providers offer ADSL packages, from capped to uncapped. However, there is one thing they are missing in their offerings, and that is personal service. With the bigger providers, you are just a number, and will most likely have to deal with incompetent call centre staff. With OpenWeb, you are family, and have direct contact with myself if you require any assistance. Our staff treat our clients like one of us!", says Keoma Wright, Founder of OpenWeb.co.za

Kind Regards,

384k is slow, but who cares, its a great price!

R9 per gb is for their capped service, uncapped is from R239.

Yeah, if you have an uncapped offering charging per GB, then any type of top-up offering would effectively be "uncapped".
