Is there anyone who offers an uncapped local internet on a 4meg line. I always just read about Screamer & Digichilli but those are only for 384 lines. Sorry if this has been asked

i use digichilli and have 4mbps line, they still have there problems and stability issues, but i get my full line speed on astraweb (avg ~430Kb/s)

Why not just buy 30GB increments for like R130 each ? each 30GB account will last quite a while. What would you possibly want to download locally that requires so much bandwidth anyway? As you can see the demand for such an account isn't all that blisteringly high, so naturally neither is the supply

Try X-dsl they offer local uncapped but don't dispaly on their website.

Ah =) i assumed that if you use a newsgroup server, not much more than 30GB of stuff that interests you would be cached locally. I guess you guys get decent speeds whether stuff is cached or not... =p

Where can you get 30GB for R130?

Web Africa

Except that's IS and not SAIX. The IS usenet server is simply not as good as the SAIX one.

The cheapest SAIX local data is probably Telkom (35GB for R240 = R6.8/GB) which includes international.

SAIX is good off peak. I use IS during peak and SAIX off. It's the best combination.
