It may sound stupid, but for an European the internet workings in the SA is "difficult" to understand. For instance can anyone explain to me what the advantages are for an uncapped or capped account? My usage is about 30-50 GB a month, but latency to Europe/USA is 190, this is far to high for any good connection. :-)

Capped products sometimes are shaped less but it depends on the ISP, which means things like gaming and p2p may be better. Uncapped products are usually shaped and sometimes throttled which can mean reduced performance during the day or when your usage is in the top percentage. Uncapped may work out cheaper in some cases or if your needs increase. It also means you generally don't have to worry about how much you use however this depends on the ISP's usage policies which are usually vague. Still they aren't too bad when you consider BT in england warns you when you do 100gb on a 5+mb line =).

Your ping is pretty good actually, you should have been here in 2006 when internet café pings to the EU were 700-1200ms :D. Gaming is pretty ok sub 500ms to be honest =).

Uncapped is the way to go due to not having to worry about you do on the internet. Get a decent account like Openweb GOLD and you won't have any issues.

Also if you are complaining about a ping of 190 you will have to complain to the speed of light. Europe is just that far away.
