Our complex is in a Telkom dead zone, so no hope of DSL lines, let alone telephone lines.

We are now looking at getting a central non-DSL based solution installed in the complex and then providing access to all residents.

We looked at NeoFlex Data, but the cap might not be high enough to serve all the residents.

Telkom WiMAX allows for uncapped via ISP's that give this option, but it is limited to 512kbps.

Can anyone suggest a good uncapped/high-capped non-DSL (read: some sort of wireless) based ISP that has a presence in Centurion?

Major backlog on WiMax, so check with Telkom before considering this option.

To be shared by how many people? I could eat 512k on my own...
The complex has 30 units in it, so 512k will not suffice, we're looking for around 4M for now.

Doubt we will go this option anyway, it's what I have at my unit.

what speeds are you looking for? have you thought about contacting ISP's about a Mask from them?
What's a Mask?

Look at screamer.co.za uncapped 1Mb/s might too small, they might be able to help you. Depends where you are ?

Depends how many units would be interested ?

Their is a local housing development that opted not to have Telkom services so they are providing
Phone (Asterisk PBX) & Data services (spread out over a large area), using centrally located Mast
and Mikrotik RB411 & Nanostation 5 at client premises, with ATA devices with analog phones.
