Greetings all.
I see that XDSL is offering 512KB Uncapped Fibre Optic, national and international access for R1420.00 a month. I would appreciate some advise on this service of what it is like as well as how do they manage to get it right if I believe that Saix backbone does not offer uncapped and many other providers offer it via satellite link up for international.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you
Dave

they use their own back bone.

but here is the catch

1024k line is divided as such

768K for Local
256k for International

basically comes down to 75% to local and 25% to international - which i suppose is great if you need fast local and don't really looking for international action.

there is also the IS uncapped options from openweb and other isps, but those are just that - the unshaped side comes into play over weekend and after hours... if it does.

Please be aware of the line split. We make it very clear that we do it.
You can contact Marcelle sales[at]xdsl.co.za. She has 2 demos that you can use for a week if you are seriously interested.
International and local can be upgraded in 64k increments.

Thanks

I've been using them since the beginning of the month and can't complain, fast download speeds (even on international), playing xbox live without a problem, and connecting to saix game servers at the same speeds as before.
