Uncharted 2 maxes out PS3

Woudn't be surprized. There's a reason it won best graphics at E3.
 
dammit! when's the slim coming to SA? i'm not buying the fatties, i neeeed the bravia sync.
 
Apparently most stores should have their stock by Friday, but a lot of them are already sold out on pre-orders, so i would advise to start phoning around and reserve one. ;)
 
I saw a Game ad for the slim for R3799.00 right now. It doesn't say anything about availability.
 
/full derail of thread: just spoken to 2 different branches of look&listen in person. they are only getting 80 slim consoles country wide. just the big/very busy stores will get them, ie only menlyn in pta will get, and they will get only roughly 8. the pre orders will also bite a chunk out of said 80. they might get more later in october.

I assume then u won't be playing online? Even if a modchip is undetectable, a new firmware will probable incriminate you and ban your console.
 
I doubt PS3 will ever be hackable. It's been too long already.

Even if it's done, the price of blank blu-ray discs are insane compared to a mere R18 or so for a top quality DVD9 (Xbox 360)
