I played the demo which left me wondering if there is something in the full game not included in the demo because all I see is a third person shooter with pretty graphics and a horrible aiming/cover system. It reminds me of Bourne Conspiracy.

Uncharted 1 is an incredibly solid game. It combines platforming and shooting gameplay with an awesome story that is paced like your favourite action adventure movie. Nathan Drake is a modern Indiana Jones. You just keep on playing because you get attached to the characters and want to find out what happens next in the story. The graphics for UC1 are dated by todays standards, but it's still a really good game. The only niggle is that in some parts they do go a bit overboard with the amount of bad guys they throw at you.

Uncharted 2 is tied for the best game I have played ever (Half-life 1 shares this spot). The graphics are WAY better in the 2nd outing, the story is even more gripping and the gameplay has been fine tuned to provide an even better experience. You will not be disappointed if you buy this game, and you don't have to play UC1 to understand what's going on. Even though there are a few references to the first game, the second game can be played without having played the first one.

Uncharted, for, me is easily one of the top game franchises. Do yourself a favour andf get it! The formula may sound boring and repetitive but the game is awesome. It may not do everything the best but it brings it all together in a way that you cannot help but be impressed.

I'd bet that you could film the entire uncharted 2, edit out the parts where you die, and easily make a decent movie!

uncharted 1 was good, uncharted 2 mind blowing, brilliant game, awesome dialouge, very witty, argh pity I can't play it online, but it is really really good, top 3 of all time games.

Bought Uncharted 2 and got stuck on the update needs to do a huge up date and I was running it off a wireless so it tool 2 hours and only got a tenth of the way through gave up after that going to try again tonight with a cable this time

I found the difficulty curve of Uncharted to get a bit high, but other than that it's an awesome game. Still need to get 2 tho.

indeed some parts were a bit frustrating, uncharted2 is a lot faster paced, better and easier, better hints etc, just overall brilliant.

so play without updating, it is huge i recall, and with neotel and also wireless took a few good hours

Playing online is awesome fun but weird. The netcode records EVERYTHING client side. So if on my PS3 I kill someone, but have 1000 ping, the following will happen:

I do lethal damage to host.
Host turns around and sees me.
He has 0 lag so he shoots me.
I die.
My "kill" arrives at his PS3, recognizes that I did lethal damage.
He drops dead and I get a kill.

Lol.

sigh i cant even login to psn with neotel, i just sell the games when i finish the single campaign

Best SP games I have ever played.
Noxi if you are not a dodgy fellow you can lend my for a month or so.

I don't own a console or have even tried this game but for some odd reason it appeals to me a lot.

Let's put it this way. If you had to take all the action adventure movies you ever enjoyed and carried the theme of that hybrid over to a game. That would be Uncharted.

I haven't even finished my first one of the game :D, maybe i ought to do that. After trying the demo for the new one, it does feel somewhat more easier :)

if you selling the 2nd one, pm me (in the Stanger area, 80Ks from DBN).
