Undersea cable

Hi, does anyone know if the repairs on the undersea cable is finished? Telkom support center blamed the slow internet on the cable.
I keep getting timeouts when trying to fix a customers problem with Teamviewer as the download speed fluctuates between 350 and 12 megabits/second
 
Telkom still dog slow!

Can't play Youtube any higher than 480, can't load anything on Facebook!

Speedtest tells me my speed has been doubled, and now sitting on 50/50!

International pings well over 400m/s!!!!!!!

What's going on?

My problem exactly!
I see they have doubles the line speeds (YAY!) Now on 50/50, but pretty useless if you can't even load facebook, youtube.... Nothing!

I've restarted routers, PC's, Phones....

So done with Telkom now!

Signed up with VOX yesterday!
Stock 50/50 for same price as Telkoms 20/20!

Can't wait to move!

Doubling of speed is due to some ISP’s doubling it for you till the end of April. To do with COVID-19.

Doubling of speed is due to some ISP’s doubling it for you till the end of April. To do with COVID-19.
 
I can browse. Have full line speed but can't connect to steam or Discord.
 
Since the start of the first weekend, Telkom Wireless Internet speeds have constantly been less than 1Mbps in Mokopane. I had been reporting it almost every day with no change, even after the completion of the repairs on the submarine cable. The funny thing is that I got download speeds from Vodacom in excess of 43Mbps even before the cable got repaired, so why can't Telkom supply the same? I pay for 10Mbps uncapped, but can't watch anything on Showmax or Netflix, they buffer so much! No other service providers are available here that can offer me the same package as I am supposed to get from Telkom.
 
From my side, everything looks to be sorted as of today (06 April 2020).

And to my surprise, I am also getting download speeds in excess of 60MB on my 20/20 fibre!
So good job Telkom!

But I'm still moving to VOX!
