I’ve been contemplating moving my Sanlam RA but with the echo bonus and the penalty I’m not so sure.

Got these EAC figures and wanted to make sense of it

The top table is if I continue with the investment and the lower table is if I replace the investment.

If you move now... a very dumb mistake, the markets are way down... . Thats my honest 2c. I personally lost 1/3 of R1kk last week

Depends where it goes I guess. You could also be buying low and makes as near no difference.

But with these muppets taking months to do this stuff it’s always a gamble.

I would only have worried about the price if I was actually retiring and cashing out.

I did my section 14 in 6 working days 3 years back. Rude email to the ceo (thank, I am leaving.... bla bla bla)

Sell low to buy low (I wouldnt do that).

Anyone retiring in the next 12 to 24 months....

If you are retiring in 12-24 months you should have only have like 10% max in equities and the rest in bonds and cash if done properly. The crash should be neutral or slightly positive because bonds yields crashed to their lowest level in the past few weeks.
