Underwater cable map

Geez, check all them red lines running between Europe and the US...and one poofter cable around Africa.

I like the graph in the bottom right hand corner showing the capacity of all the cables combined. No wonder telecoms in Africa remain so expensive. We should start calling Africa the "disconnected" continent.
