Does anyone else get that none of the Unetbootin versions work properly on Windows 7?
The last successful Linux Boot Drive that I made took about 10 attempts, where I have to write the iso to the stick, reboot, BIOS doesn't see it as a bootable drive, go back to Windows, write it again.. and so on and forth. It eventually worked.
Because I tried to install Linux mint on a friend's PC and no matter what I tried, (even different flash drives), I couldn't get it to write an iso so that it's bootable on his laptop.
On my PC I just gave up and found it much simpler to just write the Linux I want to try to a CD/DVD. (Cheap as chips these days)
