unicode support in ubuntu?

Hi...I have a folder of mp3s where some of the filenames and folder names are in unicode....Ubuntu cant see any of them....how do i get unicode support in ubuntu? so i can see my files and folders again.

Not knowing at what layer your problem lies, I can only guess. In the past, I've fixed this kind of thing by uncommenting the locales I want from /etc/locale.gen and then typing 'locale-gen' as root in the terminal.
