Hi,

Has anyone come across Unifi AP's and Apple devices such as Ipad's and Iphone's not working properly.

I have a client that has 2 Unifi's setup. Android and PC devices work fine but for some unknown reason the Apple devices disconnect and cant see the SSID as well.

Googling comes up with many different solutions with no concrete answers.

Does anyone have experience with these Unifi's and had the same problem?

Sometimes answers can take abit to get through here when posting late :o.

My suggestion while you wait is register for an Amazon AWS free tier account and deploy the current AP version you running aswell as the latest beta / nightly copy.

Tutorial if needed.

This is the best way i think to diagnose since many clients may stay on stable versions [if it ain't broke...] and never updated. :p.

I have 4 unifi's in my office and no problems across the various iphones and ipads we have here.
Did an installation last week with 11 at a site and no problems there either.

Are your AP's updated to the latest firmware and which controller version are you running?

Thanks for the replies. There are the single band UAP's. Only 2.4 Ghz.

I need them just to provide basic WLAN access. No billing or payspot gateways.

I believe the firmware is the latest and the controller is the latest straight from ubnt's website.
