Good day all

Has anyone requested their academic record from UNISA? If so, please let me know how to go about it, emails seems to go unanswered...

Thanks!

Same Issues

Unisa doesn't reply to anything, I've had no luck from them whatsoever. And I still have credits there towards a further degree, but they wont send me anything. I may just transfer it completely away from them.

I will fscking drive there if I have to, it's that important. Anyone else?

FYI, I made the same request to Rhodes and had signed copies within a few hours!

I got my academic record from Unisa via post. It takes 3 months though - You need to fill in the request for academic record form and e-mail it to [email protected].

If you need it quickly all you have to do is drive there and take along your ID doc, student card and money for a cooldrink. They will print it out in minutes.

In fact, fill in that form anyways. You will need it if you go to a physical branch and it will save you time.

Thanks Shaun!

I've done and submitted the form, even got a Fax2Email address, just in case.

It's been a while and the student card will be hard to locate! But hopefully my ID and student number should suffice - because 3 months ain't gonna cut it.

You're welcome boet. Ya it's easier if you just go in, less of a hassle. I had time so I did not want to waste a trip to the campus.

I was pleasantly surprised when I requested transcripts for my Comp Sci modules I completed back in the heady days of pre internet..late 1980s.

They posted and emailed me the results within a few days IIRC.
Application and payment all done from comfort of living room sofa :D
Fancy keeping 10s of millions of records for 30 years!

Colour me suprised! They emailed after two days, with a stamped copy.

When I needed mine I went to the Florida office and they printed and stamped it straight away.
You just need to find the right place and person to do it which can be tough sometimes.

*If* I need the original I'll keep that in mind. Florida is a hell of a lot closer than Pretoria campus.

Hello!
I was wondering if one of y'all could maybe help? I'm doing a qualification at the moment through unisa and I finish it this year. Applications for next year are to be submitted by 30 November and I want to further my studies.
May I ask if you know of where I can get some type of qualification confirmation that I can submit in with my next application, so that they know I am doing/and am finished with it this year

If you can, it's best to go to one of the campuses and camp there. It is painful, but since they nuked the call center, that is about the most efficient way of getting answers.

If your further studies is also through UNISA then they will pick it up on your student number. If it is with a different institution then you may need some other form of proof.

on myunisa you can download a stamped academic record in pdf which you can use to apply
