Unit trust withdrawal tax

Advice regarding unit trust withdrawal:

I withdrew a portion of a unit trust,small amount,the UT is still in place, I want to to know the tax implications on that? Do I need to declare anything or what? How will I get taxed? Is tax applicable?

You would already have paid 15% dividends withholding tax. Up to R40,000 capital gains tax-free, unless you've already had those elsewhere. You will be provided with a tax certificate which gives the details you need for your tax return.
