Unlocking Hidden MFD functions for Chevy Spark (New Shape)

I saw this article on an Indian motoring forum, for the New-Shape Chevrolet Beat (Spark in SA), and wondered if the same 'unlock' trick as detailed would work on SA models as well.

Anyone willing to check it out and report back?

It is disabled in the Spark because they use the same unit in the Sonic, where it is available. It's just a marketing tool like the original Celeron.

true that, wonder how they came across it in the first place? seems like by chance they found it. wonder what else its possible to do with different cars.

That button comes standard on the Spark LT, but it is missing the clock button.
