normally Drs use a step down approach. They treat you intensively to bring the pressure down then slow decrease and remove.
Be careful not to make random connections some drugs take days to start working. Though the change in diet is necessary and VERY important. The side-effects will go away with time as your body gets used to it or when your doctor brings down the dose once he/she has managed to bring down your pressure.
A common mistake is patients start taking care of themselves when they are diagnosed their lifestyle changes and they make a mistake of associating the changes to diet when in fact the drugs selected to treat the patient can take up to 50 hours to reach efficacy. A lot of patients then wonder "why am i spending so much money on these medicines when I ate this and that and my pressure went down" .... then they stop the meds and bam pressure shoots right back up and they back at square one.
Now im not saying dont do the juicing and stuff. Diet is probably the most important thing. What im saying is dont remove any of the drugs or change their doses on your own without your doctors consent. You wouldnt want to cause a CVA due to a huge spike.
you must understand what is known as RAAS (renein-angiotensin-aldosterone-system).
