No. Starts up quickly by me but initially in low resolution which improves after a bit.

Maybe your line is crap, your ISP isn't Netflix friendly or has high latency?
I have a 4Mb line and I don't wait at all for the streams to start.
Try going Netflix then click on the little down arrow On the right
-select Your Account
-Click on playback settings
-change the setting from Auto to Low then save
See if that improves performance, then go back and try Medium see what happens

Lol. Ok. MY Roku runs fine. It seems that my PC - that I was using to troubleshoot the issue - has a firewall problem.
Avast Firewall is blocking the DNS
