unreal tournament 3 update "advice" needed

ive got ut3 installed to version 1.2. i want to play this mod called "the haunted" looks really awesome . but now i see i need version 2.1 to play the mod. can i skip previous inbetween patches and just download the ut3 patch 5 (2.1) or do i really have to download all of them ?

can mods please move this thread to the game section . sorry !!

Should be fine unless the patch is called something 1.8-2.1 patch.
