Unreasonably slow connection speeds

Well,

I have been on 200/200 for many year with Cool ideas.

The last 6-8 months I have noticed that my line speeds have been dropping weekly.. sometimes to as low as 5/1

When I log a call, as soon as there is a reply miraculously my speeds are back to 200/200.

Rinse and repeat.

I have now set a reminder weekly to test my speeds..and again today.. 35/33...

Waiting for the reply and the miracle to happen again.

Hi there, is this via a cabled connection or wireless?

The only factors affecting speed like that would be:

Medium, wireless/cable
Line Issues
Hardware Issues
Line Saturation
FNO Backhaul related problems

Usually in that order.

Also I would suggest you post this to the main thread vs one that is now 2 years old

This is the same questions asked everytime...
And then, like magic, when someone calls its a miracle I get my speed back...

As if I'm been throttled, then when I log a call and an agent picks it up..it fixes itself.. almost instantly..

Hi, I have read your post and my response is still relative?

We dont even have the ability to throttle customers. So we need to go through the steps to figure out where the issue is.

What was your last calls ref number?
