The graphics and particularly the realism in the character movement is insane.

It is on Steam where you can only add it to wishlist at the moment. For an indie dev it doesn't look bad, and I hope that his game turns out to be good and true to its promo. He recently attempted to prove the critics wrong by showing the game run in Unreal Engine 5,
which kinda had more Redditors have a go at him, lol. Some people are against 'realism' and some are calling it a sham. He does have a good support base though and the dev wasn't shy to say that he uses workshop assets, but that the assets are placeholders. I doubt that he will change the assets.
Wondering if it's maybe a good idea to add it to wishlist, according to the initial video the developer is looking for funding.
I imagine if they can show interest from Steam data getting funding may be easier.
On December 20, 2021, VOID Interactive announced that their partnership with Team17 had ended and that they would no longer be publishing the game. Speculation suggested that this was due to the developers teasing a school shooting level on Reddit one day prior, although this was denied by VOID.
On June 16, 2022, Ready or Not was delisted from Steam after a takedown request was issued against the game for trademark infringement relating to a nightclub level. Though media reports suggested it was connected to the level's release date—June 12, the anniversary of the 2016 Pulse nightclub shooting (VOID did not comment on why this date was chosen)—it was noted that the name of the in-game nightclub, "Pryzm", was also the name of a British nightclub chain owned by Rekom UK. The game returned to Steam on June 18 with the infringing elements removed.
Yeah I'm sure a bigger player will soon release a similarly realistic game. With soon I mean 3 years or so.Steam in my opinion is not the right place to crowdsource, and there are many other avenues like Fig which is now Republic. Rug pulling is also an issue in this arena, so... the other option is to pursue a publisher, but then you have to align with their rules, which has its pros and cons.
I am not backing anything, again, any time, soon, but I do hope that this game turns out. Just look at how well Ready or Not turned out, and look at their issues,

still early access, but they source through Steam by having a paid early access and Supporter Edition.
