Hi,

Lets say that I have a unrestricted APN and a dynamic domain name server that gives me a domain name like mycomputer.no-ip.org

If that domain (mycomputer.no-ip.org) gets attacked with a DDOS or something equivalent (I'm bit of a noob with regards to networking), does that mean goodbye data package?

What other options are there to remotely access a server with a dynamically allocated IP?

regards

As there are a few different types of DDoS this isn't entirely a yes/no answer.

DDoS attacks are generally launched from botnets which means many attempted incoming connections which would certainly have an affect on the data package but not in megs per second measurements :P I would be more worried about the network interface and CPU being bogged down in such an instance hehe

Good hardware firewalling ( or software with well configured rules ),blocking unwanted service ports and allowing connections only from certain IP ranges will certainly help mitigate such problems
