Just have 2 phones connected to the wifi. Oh and that 8.8.8.8 i must type in is it just in one if those fields or both of them, because when type in 8.8.8.8 in both fields it does not want to applyStart with your Wireless settings, Verify everything is configured properly and maybe select a wifi channel manually.
There is an Android app you can download which it will scan for interference on the different channels. Choose the one with the least interference.
If it is an DNS problem just try 8.8.8.8 for a while and see if it works for you.
Do you have other devices connected to your router over wifi?
For me the solution was to get a new router.
To stop your phone dropping the connection:
Settings>Wifi > Advanced Wi-Fi > uncheck avoid unstable connections
you might also want to uncheck Wi-Fi signal weak.
Should i get the same router? Or should i get a totally different make? Which ones do you suggest?

Not sure, what router do you have currently? How strong do you need your WiFi to be? What is your budget?
Basically buy a newish router with at least n standard WiFi support, ac if you want to future proof it.
anything betweem r500 and r1200
Cool will check it out thanksI Got myself the entry level ZyXEL VDSL router. I is a bit tricky to setup if you don't know your way around wifi configs. Paid R750.
Locked my channel down and its been smooth sailing since then.
woah. Dns change made a bit of a diffrenceprimary dns 8.8.8.8 and secondary 8.8.4.4
So what exactly does that DNS settings do? and is there anything i can do to prioritise gaming?
