Unstable connection.

Geez, maybe add some details:

Wifi or simcard?

ISP/Network provider

OS?

Rooted?

Start with your Wireless settings, Verify everything is configured properly and maybe select a wifi channel manually.
There is an Android app you can download which it will scan for interference on the different channels. Choose the one with the least interference.

If it is an DNS problem just try 8.8.8.8 for a while and see if it works for you.
Do you have other devices connected to your router over wifi?

For me the solution was to get a new router.

To stop your phone dropping the connection:
Settings>Wifi > Advanced Wi-Fi > uncheck avoid unstable connections
you might also want to uncheck Wi-Fi signal weak.

Just have 2 phones connected to the wifi. Oh and that 8.8.8.8 i must type in is it just in one if those fields or both of them, because when type in 8.8.8.8 in both fields it does not want to apply

Should i get the same router? Or should i get a totally different make? Which ones do you suggest?

Not sure, what router do you have currently? How strong do you need your WiFi to be? What is your budget?
Basically buy a newish router with at least n standard WiFi support, ac if you want to future proof it.

8.8.8.8 must be put in your router, not on the phones.

So what exactly does that DNS settings do? and is there anything i can do to prioritise gaming?

DNS is Domain Name Service. It resolves requested websites to IP addresses i.e. Www.google.co.za will resolve to IP 10.10.10.10 as an example. Another example will be www.google.co.za might resolve to multiple IP addresses but these are geolocation IPs. So will pick the closest IP address to your location.
