If you checked the trivia in IMDB you'd see they say that she's the writer for the series and novel

I guess it's easy to surmise that half of these shows might never see a 2nd season but even so there's just too many new series coming out.

I'm struggling to keep up with just the handful of TV shows that I enjoy so where some people find time to follow even more is beyond me.

Interesting read, hopefully they will find more good actors as most series fail partly due to bad acting, but mostly because of horrible scripts/story lines.

Yep, seems so.

Hopefully they will release at least a few episodes. Last year Amazon started off with something new. I remember they released one episode and asked users to vote. If they got 'x' amount of votes they will continue with the series. I can't remember what it was, but it ended on an interesting note, never to be heard from again...
