Good news for Easter weekend load-shedding

Eskom hopes to keep load-shedding suspended until at least 16:00 on Easter Sunday, the state-owned power utility has announced.

"Due to the sustained available generation capacity and the planned return to service of 2,300MW of generation capacity by Friday, along with the anticipated low demand over the long weekend, load-shedding will remain suspended," Eskom stated.

I hope so. Don't come 2pm on Saturday saying you've lost 5 units overnight and it's Stage 2 from 4pm or some kak like that.

Good ... now you can have light at night while you collect dew from the grass so you have water to cook your two minutes noodles and chicken feet you bought on special because of an ad you saw while you were watching other people on TV actually going on holidays because they have money that they don't need to spend on providing the very basics of modern existence that you're being charged and taxed for multiple times.... aaaand breathe.

Hear that?
...chucka-chucka-chucka-chucka-chucka-chucka-chucka-chucka....

Those are the gas turbines running full tilt while burning money we don't have.

I'm tending towards early morning Friday an emergency change will happen and we'll be back to LS

elections are around the corner, and the ANC has to make SA look good!
afterwards, potholes will get bigger, load shedding will last longer, politicians will get greedier, and prices will climb higher.
oh right I forgot the line @DreamKing says

viva ANC Viva!

I just hope for our beloved ANC that Jesus doesn't decide to come back this easter weekend to celebrate his resurrection 'cause then their rule is over.

It's no mean feat proclaiming that we won't be having load shedding this weekend - while practically the WHOLE country is taking off for the EASTER WEEKEND, numbnuts!
