UPDATE: IS semi or SAIX shaped

Hi,
Currently, which is better: IS Semi-unshaped or SAIX shaped?
I use the net mainly for torrents, browsing, and VOIP after hours.

I know this topic has been covered numerous times before, but I've heard that recently, the quality of the IS international connection has dropped. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Also, just on the side... if I sign up to Telkominternet 3GB for R239, am I guaranteed to get 4.5GB of bandwidth... because this seems like the cheapest option out for that amount of gigs?

I have IS Semi shaped through Axxess. Works awesome after hours..

About the Telkom figure you posted. Who told you you have 4.5GB guaranteed?

You are guaranteed 3GB. After that you have 30GB local-only. Go over that and you pay through your @rse.

Telkom's softcap is 4.5gig currently and SHRINKING. It used to be 6 gig. No clue about your first question.
