So I am trying to update the raid card driver on my server, since this is the suggested resolution for the scsi bus appears hung message, which pops up the moment any significant I/O load is pushed to the raid volume.

So, following the update procedure from Adaptec, I get the following message:

Anyone had to deal with this and manage to get it sorted?

rpm -ivh /root/kmod-aacraid-RHEL7.0-1.2.1-41024.x86_64.rpm

Hi There

I know Centos 5 needs the below with the Adaptec Cards

yum install kernel-headers
yum install kernel-devel
yum install gcc

seems at some point between yesterday and today, the server updated to 7.1, after an install using the 7 iso.. I have managed to update the driver and the firmware on the card.. before and after the update i was, and still am, stuck with scsi bus hang.JPG

the apparant fix is to update the drivers and firmware for the card...
