Okes, I'd like to get the A7 (2017)

The fact that Vodacom firstly excludes me based on AGE and because I work in COMMUNITY SERVICE - I mean come on, EMS uses alot of DATA etc - I probably do more DATA / Social media that most under 25's - it's rather pathetic to be honest.

Don't shoot yourself in the foot telkom is not telkom mobile, they are genuinely good I switched from Vodacon after 10 years moved family over as well.

At least just look at what freeme offers example

The free Telkom landline and mobile calls is great. And free landline to mobile calls we have too. Instead of Whatsapp, we call.

For that sub why not buy the phone on credit somewhere else and switch to prepaid, you can go for Telkom Mobile and get 2 gigs for R149 and add in extra minutes and still be under R299 sub.
Maybe look at getting a redmi note 3 from takealot it has almost the same spec as the A7 and it's more than half the price?
So you get the redmi note 3 for R3299/24 with a bit of interest works out to 160 and 149 from Telkom and you're golden.

You get double voice/sms/data by taking sim only on vodacom. Here is a funny one that I currently pay. No it's not free just the portal says it is (image has not been altered).
