Hi

So i have an iPad2 that has been deprived of a jailbreak for far too long now.

It is currently on iOS 4.3 and I wana update to 4.3.3(recommended for jailbreaking) from my work PC.
But i have all my apps on my home PC and only sync my iPad there.
What happens if i upgrade using my work PC? Will I lose all my apps? how does this stuff work?

Plug into your work pc, transfer purchases. Your apps will be on your work pc then, but photos/music/iTunes U/movies won't get transferred. They get wiped and synced if you choose to, otherwise it just stays as is on your iPad. But seeing that you want to jailbreak, my guess is you will lose everything except apps which you can transfer before hand. I have no idea how jailbreaking works though.

Why don't you download the 4.3.3 iOS at work and install it using your pc? It will only connect Apple servers to verify the iOS is genuine and that's it, saving you download data?

You'll find the updates here

Exactly. Download the ipsw file and then shift-click on restore on iTunes to select it. (Windows)

on a side note, i just used the current jailbreak to do an iphone 4 still runinng 4.30, no issues at all
