Upgrade Notebook OS?

I'm thinking of buying a notebook with Win 7 home premium on it.
Would I be able to upgrade this to Utlimate after the fact?

sure, but it will require a purchase of the upgrade media. The Ultimate Upgrade disc will work fine on it.

It's not a physical disk, just a code/key. Everything(except XP mode) is already there, your key just determines what is unlocked.

Maybe, but they may also check the billing address of your card.
