Hi,

I have 6 network cameras and a Unifi Ap connected to a 8port Unifi POE switch. All of the cameras are POE, the AP is older so uses 24V.
I want to add two more cameras, so need a better switch. I found several options online, but I confused on which one to get. Any recommendations?

Just reading the description it seems that only 8 out of the 16 ports are POE with a total of 110W over all 8 ports.

Also if one port draws too much power then it will disable a port to give priority power to other ports.
That's what I make of it, but maybe someone with experience of this switch can answer better.

I bought 1 of these for my cameras and am super happy with it. I wanted a managed switch for separating the cameras onto their own VLAN.

This does not do 24v,so do your devices support 52v af/at?
No idea how it's working. I have 6 hikvision cameras as below and a unifi ap "UAP" that uses 24v.

The unifi switch likely supports both 52v and 24v thus everything works, the linked one does not do 24v. You could do a active-passive poe converter of course, the old UAPs can run on 12v
