Who would win between a XFX 8800GS XXX 384MB and a Asus GT430 1GB?

Used for occasional gaming like Crysis 2 and Shift 2 etc. and watching series and movies on a 42" LCD, the gaming is done on a 20" LCD but wouldn't mind playing on the 42" on either 1080 or 720. I know the games won't run on high but medium is fine. I currently own the XFX card, just want to know if upgrading would be worth while.

Are you sure they will even run on medium?

Sounds more like low as you can go. Can't you put in a bit more for a 6850 or nvidia 460?
 
I don't really consider it a upgrade, I want a new DX11 card with HDMI that is similar to my current card in performance, otherwise I will just buy a DVI-HDMI cable. I'm currently playing Crysis 2 at 1440x900 on medium no problem. Budget R750.
 
Yes, I saw the GT 440. I think I'm going to keep my current card and go the DVI-HDMI cable route.
