What to choose? All Android & Windows fanboys / fangirls line up please:D

I do not know what to get. Have a Galaxy S3, kind of like it, all apps especially, easy way of going from WiFi to Data when needed. I got a Windows phone - Nokia Lumia for the last three weeks (loan phone), I am trying very hard to like it, but it is difficult at the moment.

What I need: card slot, two cameras (front & back) including a flash, easy to operate with one hand, water resistant (optional, but would be good). I basically use the handset 24/7, must be able to interact with a Samsung smart TV without me obtaining a degree in technology to understand. Stereo FM, nice to have. I love apps and games (kids more on the phone at night). Exchange mail used on a daily basis as well as replying to work e-mails and now and again updating MS-Excel & MS-Word files. Must have WiFi, Bluetooth.

S4 mini. Son seems to like his one. I5 if you like things simple. Although if you need your phone for storage then stay away.

Hi,

Have you tried to reset your phone back to default ? You might have an app running causing issues.

I have Xperia Z awesome phone no issues. Similar to S3 just has more or less all the bells and whistles, waterproof dust proof. Got My Kit Kat upgrade and work perfect... Good camera and all the apps can be used on Play store.

You refering to Z2?

Mine did the same. Was the battery that was worn out. Replaced it and back to it's old self. That could be an option?

I think you will always get subjective opinions when it comes to phone brands, operating systems etc.
I read an article on News24 this week that indicates 85% of all smartphones sold are now running on Android. I guess that makes it the most sought after. I am a Samsung fan (I know some people hate Samsung), there was also an article on Samsung owning the biggest chunk of the Android market. So now you know what the most popular O/S and brand is (by sales volume).

Luckily, we are all different, and there are different strokes for different blokes. If however, as you stated, you like your S3, I see no reason changing...

Best of luck on making your choice :)

Why not get a Note 3? Its got all the bells and whistles u need and even more. Loving mine and the battery is very good

The Galaxy S5 is a perfect fit for you.

I know it might sound like a broken record, but the S5's display is THE best smartphone display ever tested (and it shows), the battery life on this phone is phenomenal, it's water resistant, call quality is really good and it ticks all your boxes.

And the new UI is beautiful. You won't ever feel the need to get a custom ROM on the phone, it works really well.

Get the LTE model sold by Vodacom and MTN, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset, which is a super performer. ;)
