Upgrade to S7 Edge ?

Hi all, my S3 is getting old an although it's fine the time has come to get a new phone. My budget of 10G seems to fit the S7 on Takealot. The 32gb Lte whatever that might mean....Gold.

I run 2 emails , some with building plans I need to look at when on the road. News and the usual others- forums, WA, FB, Findships,Marine Traffic, Maps and a few banks.

Any tips or info I should know before ordering?

Thanks, anywhere else to try ? Don't want some shady place selling refurbed phones and Takealot has taken back some bad buys over the years without ever squabbling.

I see the S8 has a smaller battery ? More the better for me on the road.

Regarding memory cards.....what do I need for pics and storing drawings and plans ? Currently my S3 seems to have an 8gb card?
Is bigger better or should I just go for middle of the road -32Gb ?

The edge would be better in terms of battery life vs the s8. The s7 also comes with the ADH warranty which the s8 does not...

If you can wait a few weeks, set up an alert on amazon.de with camelizer

They had them yesterday for 420 euro. Nice thing of amazon.de is they deduct the german tax, so you will get it with shipping and import tax for around the same amount as advertised.

(For some reason the import tax on the black ones is less than the import tax on the silver ones, don't ask me why...)

Battery is lovely on the s7 e ....im currently running a samsung 64 gb memory card....it can take upto 200gb

I have a 128GB SanDisk U1 MicroSDXC in my S7 Edge as I download a lot of YouTube and other content. Works perfectly.

Go for that S7 Edge and make sure you get a damn good case for it, I advise putting these phones in a case from Day1.

Thanks. Done and dusted. Nice case with the alumn ring. What amazed me was at Dions it was 7999, 50m down the passage at MTN it was 13999 ? Sadly too both shops were absolutely empty mid morning Saturday.

Last question guys !!!!!!!!!!

Phone is great, battery lasted day and a half and only down to 19% !!

Regarding the software upgrade to Nougat that it keeps reminding me about, it gives a warning about apps changing and other warnings I don't understand ?

Do I go for it or leave it as is?

ps great speed, great camera, everything works so bloody well !!!
