Upgrade???

Hay guys, just want to know about something....i am due for an upgrade at the end of the month "for the earliest" and "latest-the end of the year", well i have a BB8520, i was interested, in upgrading to a larger display device, which was the HTC FLYER, thing was, that it didn't support 3G, but since that time, ive'd noticed "Now" that, it sports 3G?....So guys i have read reviews and that of it....does it really support 3G, like using it as a cell phone and receiving phone calls....?....thank you in advance....

The flyer is to big to make calls on. To be honest I think it is to big to even carry with me permanently. Try to get your hands on one and see for yourself. Anyway, you will have to root it to get it to make calls. Rather go for one of the 4.3" screen phones like the DesireHd or the Sensation.

Thank you, but i am interested in larger than a 4' inch, you mentioned "root it" what do you mean by that?... meaning such as skype perhaps?..would that be the only way?....which other devices would be similar...?...

yes the Flyer has 3g, as per Grumpy Old Man you need to root it (overwrite the HTC installed version of the OS in short) to be able to use it to make normal cell phone calls. I use mine with skype and it's awesome, but still use my Desire S for normal calls and other cell functions such as sms
