I used to be able to upgrade my bouquet as I wished, and all of a sudden I find that I cannot do it via the DSTV site anymore-- can anyone tell me what is going on?

I phoned the call centre and that facility has been removed from the site because it messed up the billing!!!!!!!!!!

The problem with the call centre is first that stupid voice recognition system and second once you're past that you could spend anywhere from 5 to 45 minutes on hold.

I once got so frustrated with the voice recognition system, I swore at it and it said: "Please hold on for an Operator" Works everytime :)

The voice recognition system is the worst, most stupid thing in the world. I don't know what possessed them to use such a immature technology with something so important as their own clients! I almost threw my phone in to a pool last time I contacted their their call center. Its bringing back all the rage now just thinking about it. Woosa!

Although this thread is from last year, I'd like to know if anyone's changed (up/downgraded) bouquet's recently via the Multichoice website ?

I'm thinking of trying just after midnight, if still awake, instead of phoning them tomorrow a.m. like I usually do when changing bouquet's around.

I already transferred the increased fee 2 days ago, so the account should reflect it at / after midnight, tonight.

Does the web interface work successfully, these days ?

DSTV upgrade

I tried to downgrade in December but the only options when you select connect/disconnect service is to de-activate/activate your current bouquet.

As far as I could see there was no way (once you disconnected your current service) to select another bouquet to activate.

So no, as far as I know (beware, if you disconnect your service then your signal is almost immediately cut!).
