Hi all
I recently found out that my local exchange supports up to 4/10 Mbps line speeds (Mweb confirmed this for me) while Telkom said my exchange is only 2 Mbps. This lead to me deciding to cancel my Dstv subscription, and put some of that extra money into upgrading my internet.
Currently I'm on the Mweb Premium Uncapped 2Mbps package, which is R599 pm (ADSL Data + ADSL Line Rental).
Now, for the upgrade, I can get the 4Mbps Premium Uncapped from MWEB for R899 pm (Data + Line)
I can also get the 10Mbps Uncapped from Afrihost for R897 pm (Data + Line).
For those that don't know, Mweb's Premium Uncapped is also Unthrottled.
However, I recently moved from Afrihost to Mweb, because Afrihost's internet was so bad since they moved from IS to MTN. So I don't want to go back to them just to regret my decision. :erm:
What would you guys suggest I get, or what other ISP should I look at?
At the moment I am quite happy with Mweb, I'm getting solid speeds from my line.
