Upgrading from 4 > 10Mb...

How did you guys on 4mb upgrade to a 10Mb line?

I dialed 10210 and the lady said I should call back tomorrow and press option 1 and then 3 to get through to s department that'll do it for me.

Anyone have advice that they've used which works?

as IT I can tell you, best way to go telkom and learn from telkom office if your area supports 10mbit infastructure, with giving your land line number they can tell you which speed you can get most.
then if your area supports 10mbit line you upgrade telkom adsl to 4mbit line and but a 4mbit to 10mbit package from an ISP like axxess in first week after upgrade you will see first 4mbit in your router as speed then it will be upgraded into 10mbit later and you enjoy the speed as they given us like luxury which we pay as tripple of from other european countries as service.

I had no problems upgrading... except the telkom availability checker telling me only 4m was available (checking a few months previously, it told me 10mb was available). Line is with Mweb, so I mailed them the morning & by the time I got home, it was upgraded & running on 10meg
