I currently have a GTS 450 (note, GTS not GTX). I could play Diablo III in HD reasonably well (got slow when there was too much activity on screen). I now want to upgrade my Gfx Card with Frontier Dangerous in mind. Problem is I have a MSI 880-E35 Motherboard which has a PCIe x16 v2.0 slot and the card I'm looking at is a GTX 650 - PCIe v3.0 (128bit, 1G, GDDR5) [can't spend more than R2000]. I am really eager to upgrade to play games so I don't want to upgrade my motherboard/other first. Is it worth spending the money on a card which will not perform as well as it potentially can (until I have saved enough to upgrade the rest) ?
