In the past, I used mostly GPRS. Sometimes it was manageable - prior to HSDPA - other times it was a complete pain ( Virgin Mobile).

Now I'm ahead of the pack with a very capable E272 :).

I imagined I would spend less time browsing with less waiting time, but I find I'm spending the same time on the net & depleting my data bundle faster!

This is partly to do with an enhanced browsing experience and with access to sites that chew up bandwidth like YouTube. I imagine the novelty will wear off, but I'm worried about the added expense.

We need a throttle lever so we can have the extra speed when we need it. I'm also less than enthusiastic with having to pay more for the privilege of mere access to 2.6/7.2 in the future.

I've become a higher spender and in normal business that should mean more of a bulk discount - surely??
