Not sure if this has been asked before.

I want to upgrade from 50/5 to 100/100

The price difference is not that much more but would I need a new router? Ont?

Should I look at buying new one?

No the jump from 100 to 200 is where you need to possibly get a new router since the cap on general cheapish routers is 100/100

Technically, depending on the FNO he might miss out on a couple of Mbit IF he has a 100Mbit router. Some FNOs is nice and provider a little more.

Will probably get around 92Mbit.

Yea under ideal conditions you get a little more im 50/50 and get around 52/55 with Vumatel but really that small difference worth investing in a new router? Imo no lol but yea i have seen Openerve people getting an extra 20 odd download
