Upgrading my contract

What does VC need from me (ie. bank statements, payslips ect?) when I go to upgrade cause my current contract is almost finished?

That probably is very dependent on individual stores, as well as the Service Provider chain they belong to...I'm sure there's some sim activation stuff that gets processed through Vodacom's system, if the store does the activation then it shouldn't take long at all...in theory...
 
It only took about 5 minutes before I was walking out of the vodashop with my new handset the last time I upgraded. I suppose the time taken is also dependent on the shop having stock of the handset you are after.
 
If you are an existing Vodacom subscriber and due for a contract the process is pretty simple. The best advice is to call customer care on 1082 or 111 toll free from any vodacom cell and confirm your upgrade date. Then it is a simple matter of taking your id to your closest dealer and filling in a form if your phone (i.e in stock) is available you are on your way. Please bear in mind that you have to be the contratc holder.
