Upgrading of contract

Any know if one can upgrade a contract whilst still in contract? Eg: going from LTE 30gb + 30gb to uncapped

The LTE uncapped can be done at a telkom store but u have to be part of the uncapped network.. Check on telkom website if its available in ur area.. Jhb is well covered..

My contract was done through sell-direct. Contact that company to see if they are able to assist as well

If your current contract price is the same, should be at no extra cost.

It's not the same! The uncapped is more pricey

Last time i enquired about this (wanted to move from 100GB - Uncapped) i was told would have to go through credit vetting again - which didn't make sense as the 100GB is pricier. Let us know how you get on

I think (guessing here), it's a new credit vetting process because it's a new application and the credit process forms part of rhat.

Did you have to pay any penalty to "cancel and start" a new app

I didn't end up going through with it unfortunately. I have a multi data SIM setup going and those are not catered for under the uncapped package.
