Upgrading speedstick's firmware

hey guys,

does anyone know how updating the cell c speedstick's firmware works or is going to work in the future? it takes a while to detect my speedstick and the whole process seems a little buggy - i was hoping that a future firmware update could fix this. what has your experience been with upgrading other dongles' firmware?

You'll download an updater from Cell C's website, run it (preferably on a mains-connected laptop or UPS-connected desktop) and after a few minutes your modem will have an updated firmware.

it takes a while to detect my speedstick and the whole process seems a little buggy - i was hoping that a future firmware update could fix this.

I suspect the problem is not with your modem's firmware, the Cell C E1820 I tested seemed to behave just like any other 3G USB modem.
