OK, I need some input here...I currently have the iPad Air 16Gb (Wifi & Cellular)...
...and now I have a devious plan. I can upgrade to the iPad Pro (9.7") 32Gb, and my monthly subs will only increase with R40 p/m (I have it on data contract with Vodacom). With my iPhone, I'm still happy with 16Gb, but with the iPad I'm really struggling with 16Gb, so 32Gb will be extremely welcome.
Now I know the specs of the Pro, it is easy enough to Google, and it is only two generations newer than my current Air. So is it worth the trouble to upgrade?
The plan doesn't stop here though. If I go ahead with the upgrade, I want to sell my iPad Air, and use the money to buy an Apple Watch. Second hand of course - plenty of them around now selling for R4500 or even less, even the 42mm model, and then they are a month or three old and still in excellent condition.
Yes, I won't get R4,500 for my iPad, maybe R3,500 or thereabouts...not minding paying in a few hundred rand, but I could definitely not afford a new Watch out of the box.
I know there's rumours about a Watch 2 coming out later this year, moot point for me as I won't be able to afford one and I'm happy with the functionality of the current Watch.
Good plan or not?
