Upgrading to Windows 8.1

Hey guys, got a 920 yesterday and it's running 8.0

What would be the easiest way to upgrade it to 8.1? I have some issues where I am trying to install whatsapp, but cannot drop a drop down box. Was hoping going to 8.1 would help solve the issue.

Anyone have some advice?

Since its a new phone and you haven't yet started installing apps and stuff, use the Lumia recovery tool and flash it
This would restore your phone to its factory settings

Otherwise, connect to Wifi
Settings --> Phone Update --> Check for Updates

So I got the 925 but I need to update it.. after using the software update under the phone setting itself it downloads small updates but I don't have the cap to do it. I will do it at my buddies wifi.

What is the size of the 8.1 update ? +- doing it via phone software

That would be my last resort after downloading so many aps but lets see how it goes on wifi with normal updating..
